Boss Handicrafts
A family workshop making handmade chess sets since 1989, sitting on decades of craft footage nobody had a system for. We built the system.

The problem
Boss Handicrafts has been making premium handmade chess sets in Amritsar since 1989. The craft is genuinely rare and the workshop is visually extraordinary - which is exactly the kind of business that gets nothing out of social media, because every post starts from a blank page and a vague instinct to post something.
Without a system deciding what to make, output is inconsistent and nothing compounds. A viewer who finds one video has no reason to expect a second, and the person holding the camera has to reinvent the idea every single time.
- Thirty-five years of craft heritage with no content framework
- Every post starting from zero, so nothing built on the last one
- Extraordinary raw material, no repeatable format
What we built
- Five-pillar content system
- 30-reel idea bank
- Five-reel mini-series arc
- Trial content retainer
What we built
A content system, not a batch of posts. The point was to make the next month of production a matter of execution rather than invention.
A five-pillar content system defining the themes the brand owns and can return to indefinitely.
A 30-reel idea bank stocked against those pillars, so the camera never comes out without a decided idea.
A five-reel mini-series arc - a sequence built to be watched in order, giving a first-time viewer a reason to come back for the next one.
A trial content retainer structure, agreed and closed, to put the system into ongoing production.

Find the pillars
We looked at what the workshop can talk about forever without straining - the craft, the material, the heritage, the game itself, the people. Five pillars, each one a category the brand has genuine authority in.
- 02
Stock the bank
Thirty reel ideas mapped across the five pillars, so that any given shoot day has options and the calendar is never blocked on inspiration.
- 03
Build a series arc
Five reels designed as a sequence rather than five standalone posts, so momentum from one carries into the next instead of resetting.
- 04
Close the retainer
The system was pitched with the trial retainer attached - the framework and the production capacity to run it, agreed together.
Results
Results
The workshop went from posting on instinct to holding a stocked, structured content system with a production agreement behind it. Performance figures for the published reels are not in yet and are marked below rather than guessed at.
- Five-pillar content system delivered
- 30-reel idea bank stocked and mapped to pillars
- Five-reel mini-series arc scripted as a sequence
- Trial content retainer closed
